This morning, with teary eyes, we sent off three friends on their near 500 mi. trip through Wisconsin for the ACT II Aids Ride. This 6 day bicycle ride through southwest Wisconsin (starting and finishing in Madison) is a fundraiser for AIDS prevention, care and awareness. The money raised benefits HIV/AIDS care and prevention services in our community.

Tonight we drove the 1 hour and 45 mins. to Boscobel, WI to see the riders. They luckily missed the threatening storm we drove through. Everyone was well feed, showered and in good spirits. They were spending the night - dry - in an area high school. We brought a bag of "flare"; stickers and colorful tinsel to adorn their bikes.
